Adult dose

The recommended dose is 1 tablet (0.5mg) once daily. Swallow this medicine whole without chewing or splitting it. This medicine may be taken with or without food. No dosage adjustment is necessary in patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. The recommended dose in patients with hepatic impairment has not been established because there are no data on administration of this medicine to patients with hepatic impairment.

This medication can be absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle or take this medication directly. It is especially advisable to avoid touching broken or damaged pieces of this medication. Children under the age of 18 should not use this medication, and care must be taken to ensure that they do not touch broken pieces. This medication should not be administered to women, children under 18 years of age, or to individuals allergic to this medication or similar components. Adult men planning to conceive should use this medication with caution based on a doctor's judgment, as it may affect reproductive capability. Patients with urinary problems or liver dysfunction should also use this medication with caution. Moreover, since this medication is metabolized in the liver, caution is advised when taken with certain strong liver enzyme inhibitors, as drug concentrations may increase. During the course of treatment, side effects related to sexual function, such as erectile dysfunction, reduced libido, and ejaculation disorders may occur, and in some cases, discontinuation of the medication may be necessary. These side effects can persist even with long-term use, so caution is necessary. This medication can affect PSA levels, which are important for evaluating the risk of prostate cancer, and may lower these values, so it is essential to inform the healthcare provider about using this medication before undergoing a PSA test. Blood donation should be avoided during treatment, and at least 6 months should pass after the last intake before donating blood. This medication is known not to affect driving or machinery operation; however, this may vary by individual, so caution is needed. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so immediate medical attention should be sought for proper treatment. Keep out of the reach of children, and store in the original container to prevent misuse or degradation of quality. Women who are pregnant must never use this medication, and it is also prohibited for breastfeeding women. Although significant interactions with various medications are not reported, caution is required with certain liver enzyme inhibitors.
