Vitamin D supplementation is especially important during periods of increased demand, such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth, and old age. Additionally, vitamin D is effective in improving bone growth disorders and preventing rickets. Therefore, it helps maintain health by ensuring vitamin D intake during these times and conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 12 years and older, take 1 capsule once daily

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia or sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease of unknown origin, and those with kidney disease. Furthermore, individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, severe renal failure, and those allergic to soy oil, beans, or peanuts should avoid this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication simultaneously with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. If you are currently receiving treatment from a doctor or are pregnant or possibly pregnant, breastfeeding, have a premature baby or young infant, have heart or circulatory issues, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, are taking cardiac glycosides, have a history of kidney stones, or have abnormal fat metabolism issues such as hyperlipidemia or diabetic hyperlipidemia and pancreatitis, you must consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so those allergic to this component should take caution. If you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeats, skin rashes or red spots, cardiac arrest, or central nervous system abnormalities while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. Moreover, excessive intake may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. Long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is advised. There may be a risk of hyperkalemia if taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, so be careful. Be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Patients with the risk of lipid overload should monitor their blood lipid levels and adjust their medication dosage if necessary, and should consider lipid content if receiving other lipid medications. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, well-sealed container. Also, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medicine, do not transfer to another container.
