This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), those with sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or patients with kidney disorders. Additionally, individuals who have allergic reactions to ingredients in this medication or infants under three months old, as well as patients with kidney stones, should avoid taking it. This medication should not be used together with levodopa. Infants under one year old, patients undergoing medical treatment, children with high sun exposure and normal diets, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should consult with a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. Special caution is needed as the Vitamin D component may be secreted in breast milk, which could induce hypercalcemia in newborns. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomatitis, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash or itching, edema, or fluid retention appear while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, long-term high doses of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) may cause nerve damage, and excessive dosing of Vitamin B12 may lead to hematological abnormalities. Caution is advised with high doses as they may cause gastric ulcers, impaired glucose tolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage. If symptoms do not improve during treatment or accidental overdose occurs, consult a professional immediately. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and method; parental supervision is required when administering to children. Furthermore, this medication may turn urine yellow, potentially affecting clinical test results. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry, and sealed container. It is recommended not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
