How to take

Adult dose

The usual dosage for adults is 1 tablet of Losartan Potassium 50 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once a day. Dosages exceeding Losartan Potassium 100 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg daily are not recommended. Patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with Losartan or Hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy should start with the Losartan Potassium 50 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once a day regimen.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients who are allergic to the ingredients of this drug, or have certain kidney and liver diseases, or electrolyte imbalances should not take it. Patients with severely low blood pressure or severely impaired kidney function, as well as those with certain genetic lactose intolerance should not use this medication. While this drug is effective in controlling blood pressure, caution is needed as various side effects such as hypotension, dizziness, electrolyte abnormalities, and skin rashes may occur. Storage
