This medication is specifically used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan and amlodipine combination therapy, and for patients with hyperlipidemia who require rosuvastatin calcium. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination helps to effectively control blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is used for patients with primary hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and familial hypercholesterolemia that are not controlled by diet and exercise. It also contributes to lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Especially in high-risk patients, there is a risk reduction effect for stroke, myocardial infarction, and coronary revascularization. Therefore, this medication effectively improves hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
