This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled even after treatment with telmisartan and amlodipine combination, and for patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia who cannot control their condition with dietary changes and exercise alone. Telmisartan and amlodipine effectively lower blood pressure and improve hypertensive symptoms, while rosuvastatin helps treat hypercholesterolemia and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, rosuvastatin helps slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and recurrence after vascular reintervention in high-risk patients. Therefore, this medication is used to manage both blood pressure and lipid levels simultaneously to improve heart and vascular health.
