This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus, especially in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. If pregnant women take this medicine, there can be severe problems for the fetus such as hypotension, impaired kidney function, and cranial formation anomalies, so caution is necessary. This medication can cause hypotension when initially administered to patients with decreased effective blood volume, so the patient's condition should be checked carefully before administration. This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to its active ingredients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe liver dysfunction, severe aortic stenosis patients, and patients in shock. In patients with decreased blood volume or impaired kidney function, patients required to have strict sodium restrictions, and patients with hyperkalemia, careful administration is necessary. Side effects such as dizziness, headache, drowsiness, abdominal discomfort, skin rash, palpitations, and orthostatic hypotension can occur, and if abnormal symptoms appear, it should be reported. Due to its blood pressure-lowering effect, caution is needed when driving or operating dangerous machinery, and the hypotensive effect may continue even after discontinuation. Patients with decreased liver or kidney function may require dosage adjustments, so they should consult their physician. This medication may enhance the effect when taken with other antihypertensive drugs, so caution is required during co-administration. It is advisable to avoid taking it with grapefruit juice as it can increase serum concentration and pose a higher risk of side effects. During pregnancy, this medication should not be taken for the health of the fetus, and it is also considered safe not to take it while breastfeeding. There is no established safety or efficacy in children and adolescents under 18 years, so its use is not recommended. Overdose can lead to severe hypotension and cardiac issues, so it is important to adhere to the prescribed dosages and consult medical personnel immediately if any abnormal symptoms occur.
