This drug can cause severe harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Hypotension may occur when first administered to patients with reduced blood volume, so this condition should be treated first, and it is recommended not to administer to patients who require specific dosage adjustments. Patients with allergic reactions to the main components of this drug or similar substances should not use it, and it should not be administered to patients with severely impaired liver or heart function. Dizziness may occur due to the blood pressure-lowering effect, so care should be taken when driving or operating dangerous machinery. Additionally, blood pressure variations may occur even after discontinuation, so careful adjustment is needed when administering other antihypertensive drugs. This drug is not recommended during breastfeeding, and its safety and effectiveness have not been established in children under 18 years of age. When used with other antihypertensive medications, the effect may be intensified, so caution is needed, and there may be changes in blood pressure or plasma drug concentration when combined with certain medications. Serious side effects include hypotension, decreased kidney function, hyperkalemia, and angioedema, so medical consultation should be sought immediately if unusual symptoms appear. In the case of overdose, severe hypotension or cardiac rhythm abnormalities may occur, requiring prompt emergency treatment, and the drug is not removed by blood dialysis.
