How it is given

Adult administration

As extract of Rehmannia Glutinosa, 2 mL once, administered subcutaneously three times a week for two weeks (total of 6 times).

Precautions

This medication is an ampoule injection and must be handled with great care as glass fragments may mix when cutting the glass container. Particular caution is needed when used in children or elderly patients. This medication contains components extracted from human placenta, and although thorough infection-related testing is conducted during raw material procurement, the risk of infection cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, it should be used minimally and only when necessary. Additionally, this medication contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause serious respiratory problems in premature infants, so it should not be administered to newborns or preterm infants. This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions, organic diseases, moderate complications beyond heart, liver, or kidney issues, or psychogenic diseases. After administration, hypersensitivity reactions such as shock, chills, nausea, fever, and rash may occur, and if such symptoms appear, administration should be stopped immediately. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely, gynecomastia or mastalgia may appear, so these symptoms should also be monitored carefully. When administering subcutaneously, avoid areas where nerves run, inject carefully, and when administering repeatedly, use different injection sites. If there is severe pain or blood reflux during needle insertion, the needle should be withdrawn immediately and injected in another area. This medication is to be used only for subcutaneous injection, and it is important to fully explain and obtain the patient's understanding regarding the risk of infection and the need for medication use.
