This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled, in combination with telmisartan and amlodipine, and for patients taking rosuvastatin. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination helps effectively manage blood pressure, improving hypertension. Rosuvastatin calcium is used as an adjunct in patients with hypercholesterolemia (including primary and familial types) who are not adequately controlled by diet. Additionally, this medication slows the progression of atherosclerosis and is beneficial for patients with dysbetalipoproteinemia. In patients with a high risk of cardiovascular disease, it contributes to reducing the need for stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization. Therefore, this medication is effectively used in the treatment of hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
