This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled, as well as for patients who need to take rosuvastatin for hyperlipidemia. The Telmisartan/Amlodipine combination improves blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension not adequately controlled by monotherapy. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct therapy in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed hyperlipidemia that are not controlled by diet and exercise. Additionally, it is an adjunct dietary therapy for patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis by lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. Furthermore, it is effective in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures in elderly patients at high cardiovascular risk. This medication is used as an effective treatment for managing blood pressure and lipid levels.
