This drug is used for patients with essential hypertension who have difficulty controlling blood pressure while taking a combination of telmisartan and amlodipine, and who also need to take rosuvastatin. Telmisartan and amlodipine help effectively control blood pressure, while rosuvastatin regulates hypercholesterolemia and various types of dyslipidemia to slow the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, rosuvastatin reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and helps decrease the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization. Therefore, this drug is used to improve the condition of patients requiring simultaneous management of blood pressure and cholesterol.
