How to take

Adult dose

For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by telmisartan alone, this medication should be taken once daily with water regardless of meals. Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination in dosages of 40/12.5mg, 80/12.5mg, 80/25mg can be administered based on blood pressure control status. Before starting treatment, sodium or blood volume depletion should be addressed, and caution should be exercised for renal impairment, hepatic impairment, and the elderly.

Safety and efficacy have not been established for children under 18 years of age.

Precautions

This medication can pose serious risks to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
