Alfosetin Soft Capsules (Cholin Alfoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally per dose, 2~3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This drug should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug or its components. Additionally, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication. Nausea may occur when taking this drug due to its effect on dopamine action in the brain. If such symptoms occur, it may be necessary to reduce the dosage of the medication. Furthermore, it may cause gastrointestinal issues such as gastritis or digestive disorders, so caution should be taken regarding gastrointestinal health. Mentally, symptoms such as drowsiness, difficulty sleeping, irritability or nervousness, convulsions, and excessive physical activity may occur. This drug should be kept out of reach of children. It is also advisable to avoid transferring the medication to other containers as it may compromise the quality of the drug and pose a risk of accidents.
