Improvement of epithelial damage of the conjunctiva (endogenous and exogenous diseases)
This medication is used for epithelial damage of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane pemphigoid, and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous epithelial damage of the conjunctiva that occurs after surgery, medication, trauma, or contact lens wear.
0.1%, 0.3% preparations: instill 1 drop at a time, 5-6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% preparation is administered, and if the effect is insufficient in severe conditions, the 0.3% preparation is administered.
This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to specific components or protein class medications. Symptoms such as itching of the eyes, irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal abnormalities, or a foreign body sensation may occur, and rarely, discharge or eye pain may arise. If such symptoms occur, use should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be received. Occasionally, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so if these symptoms appear, medication should be stopped and treatment should be sought. Caution should be exercised as adverse reactions may occur more frequently when used in conjunction with steroids, treatments for dry eyes, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if it is necessary to use them together, administer the other eye drop first and then use this medication about 30 minutes later. This medication is intended only for eye use, and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelid or eyelashes. If contact occurs, the medication may become contaminated. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops before use, and use immediately after opening; any remaining medication should be discarded. It is safe not to share with others. Store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool place. Additionally, transferring the medication to another container may increase the risk of misuse and degrade quality, so it should be stored only in the original container.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air. It is important to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius to properly preserve the effectiveness and safety of the medication.
