This medication is used in patients taking telmisartan and amlodipine combination who have uncontrolled blood pressure with monotherapy, and in patients who require concomitant treatment with rosuvastatin. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination is primarily used for the treatment of essential hypertension and is effective in cases where blood pressure control is difficult. Rosuvastatin calcium assists in dietary management for patients with primary and familial hypercholesterolemia, mixed hyperlipidemia, and abnormal beta-lipoproteinemia, helping to lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, thereby delaying the progression of atherosclerosis. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and revascularization procedures in high-risk cardiovascular patients. This drug improves blood pressure and cholesterol management in patients who have both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
