This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan and amlodipine, and in patients who need to take rosuvastatin. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination helps control blood pressure, and rosuvastatin calcium treats various dyslipidemia symptoms that do not improve with diet, such as hypercholesterolemia and familial hypercholesterolemia. Additionally, rosuvastatin helps delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in high-risk cardiovascular patients, effectively improving the patient’s cardiovascular health.
