Improvement in blood sugar control for type 2 diabetes
This medication helps patients with type 2 diabetes to implement dietary and exercise therapies and is used as an adjunct to effectively improve blood sugar control. It can be used alone or in combination with other medications to enhance therapeutic effects. The recommended dosage of this medication is 5 mg once daily. It can be administered regardless of meals.
This medication should not be used in patients who have allergic reactions to the active ingredients or other components of this medication. It is safe not to administer to patients with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Caution is required when used with other medications that can cause hypoglycemia. In particular, the risk of hypoglycemia may increase when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas, so dosage adjustments may be necessary. Experience in administering this medication to heart failure patients is limited, so it should be used with caution. Signs of acute pancreatitis may occur, so if symptoms like abdominal pain persist, consult a doctor immediately, and discontinuation of this medication may be needed. A skin condition known as bullous pemphigoid may occur, so if blisters or irritation appear on the skin, inform a physician immediately. While using this medication, there may be adverse reactions such as hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal disturbances, skin rash, and joint pain, so consult healthcare professionals if symptoms arise. Its safety has not been established in pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, so its use should be avoided. Safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently verified in children and adolescents, so it is not recommended. Elderly individuals can use the medication without special dosage adjustments, but their condition should be monitored closely. Patients with impaired kidney or liver functions can also be administered without special dosage adjustments, but should be observed carefully. In case of overdose, unabsorbed medication should be removed from the gastrointestinal tract and symptoms should be observed, receiving necessary treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. Additionally, it is recommended to store the medication at room temperature, between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius, avoiding extremes of heat or cold.
