View approved original text

This medication can be used as an adjunct to dietary therapy to reduce elevated triglyceride levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia (Type 4). It can also be used in combination with statins for hypercholesterolemia and combined hypertriglyceridemia (Type 2b), enhancing efficacy. Particularly, it assists in improving blood lipid levels in patients with combined types where triglyceride levels are not adequately controlled. Thus, this drug increases therapeutic effects in various states of dyslipidemia.
