Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension
Used for essential hypertension that is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or valsartan.
The recommended dose of this medication is one tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning) if possible.
The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, and its use is not recommended.
This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients who have allergies to any of the ingredients in this medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have severe kidney or liver impairment should not take this medication. Patients with insufficient sodium or fluid in the body may experience hypotension, so it is important to check their condition before taking the medication, and blood pressure should be carefully monitored during treatment. Patients with high serum potassium levels should be cautious when taking this medication along with drugs that can increase potassium levels, and regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended. Patients with renal artery stenosis or those who have received a recent kidney transplant should closely monitor kidney function due to the risk of worsening renal function. If symptoms of angioedema occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately and should not be restarted. Patients with heart failure or myocardial infarction should carefully check their kidney function and blood pressure both before and during treatment, as heart failure symptoms may worsen. This medication lowers blood pressure; thus, excessive doses may cause dizziness or severe hypotension, so it is crucial to adhere to prescribed dosages. Caution is advised as dizziness or fatigue may occur when driving or operating machinery. When taken with other antihypertensives, potassium supplements, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), drug interactions may increase side effects, requiring consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. Women planning to become pregnant or currently pregnant should not use this medication, and breastfeeding women are also advised to avoid it. Safety in pediatric patients has not been sufficiently established, and it is recommended not to use this medication in individuals under 18 years of age. For the elderly, the same dosage as adults is recommended, but close monitoring is necessary according to physical condition. Adverse reactions such as headache, dizziness, swelling, hypotension, rash, etc., may occur during medication. If symptoms are severe, medical personnel should be notified.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), angioedema, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, cough with fever accompanying respiratory abnormalities, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme fatigue, sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual abnormalities.

This medication must be stored in a tightly closed container to protect it from air and moisture. It is advisable to keep it at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius to safely maintain its effectiveness.
