Chronic persistent hepatitis with continuously elevated SGPT is a condition where inflammation in the liver persists for an extended period. This disease can lead to impaired liver function, thus requiring appropriate treatment. Medications that prevent the exacerbation of hepatitis and reduce hepatocyte damage are used. This helps restore liver health and improve symptoms. Therefore, this medicine is used for the treatment of chronic persistent hepatitis.
