It is especially important to handle it with caution when used by children or the elderly. This medication contains components extracted from human placenta. Although several infection tests and safety processing procedures are conducted when obtaining the placenta, the risk of infection cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, this medication should only be used restrictively when treatment is absolutely necessary. This medication contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause severe respiratory problems in premature or newborn infants; therefore, it should not be used in newborns or premature infants. Patients with allergic dispositions should use this medication with extra caution. If symptoms of shock, chills, nausea, fever, or skin rash occur while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely, gynecomastia or breast pain may develop; in these cases, cessation of use is advised. It is important to adequately inform patients about the risk of infection when using this medication and to ensure their understanding. When administered by subcutaneous injection, the injection site should be carefully selected to avoid nerve or tissue damage, and it is advisable to alternate injection sites during repeated injections. If there is severe pain during the injection or blood reflux occurs, the injection should be stopped immediately and administered at another site.
