This medication is used for patients with hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled with monotherapy.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

The usual dosage of this medication is 1 tablet of losartan potassium 50 mg/hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily. A dosage exceeding losartan potassium 100 mg/hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg per day is not preferred.
