Hand and skin disinfectant effect
This medication is used for disinfection of hands and skin. It is particularly used by healthcare personnel to maintain clean hands and is effective for general hand sanitization. However, it is not used for disinfection of surgical hands or surgical site skin. It can be understood to be used for simple daily hygiene management. It helps to prevent infections by maintaining hand hygiene.

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine. Particularly, caution must be taken when using it directly on important areas such as the brain, spinal cord, eyes, and ears, as it may cause hearing loss or neurological disorders. Additionally, use on mucosal areas such as the vagina, bladder, and mouth should be avoided as it can lead to severe allergic reactions such as shock. It is also very dangerous if it comes into contact with the eyes, and care should be taken to prevent it from getting into the eyes; if it does, it must be washed out immediately with clean water. Patients with a history of allergies to other medications or allergic conditions such as asthma should be particularly cautious when using this product. Rarely, shock may occur during use, so if symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or skin redness appear, use should be stopped immediately and medical treatment sought. Rashes or hives may also occur as allergic reactions, and in such cases, use should also be stopped immediately. This medication has not been confirmed safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so it is recommended not to use it in these situations. This medication should be used externally only, and caution should be taken to avoid inhaling vapors if used extensively or for a long time. It is advisable not to use it particularly on neonates or premature infants due to the increased risk of systemic side effects. Before use, the skin should be cleaned with soap or something similar to ensure the bactericidal effect of this medication is not diminished, and it should not be used for mucosal disinfection of gynecological or urological areas. This medication is stable within an appropriate pH range, and it may degrade if stored at high temperatures for prolonged periods, so it should be stored in a cool place and used immediately after opening. Remaining medication should be discarded safely.
