Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to any of its components or in children under 18 years of age. Caution is advised for patients at high risk of bleeding due to severe trauma or surgery, those with liver function issues, and those with fish allergies. Various adverse reactions such as indigestion, belching, rash, taste disturbances, cold symptoms, and pain may occur during treatment, so consult a doctor if symptoms are severe or persistent. Before starting this medication, it is essential to verify that triglyceride levels are outside the normal range, and lifestyle modifications such as weight control and alcohol intake reduction are important to implement simultaneously. During administration, periodic blood tests should be conducted to monitor triglyceride levels and liver function, and the use should be discontinued if there is no effect after 2 months. This medication can affect blood coagulation; therefore, caution is needed when taken with anticoagulants or acetylsalicylic acid, as the risk of bleeding may increase. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should only take this medication after discussion with their doctor, as its safety has not been established. Elderly patients may use this medication but should be monitored closely. There is no specific antidote for overdose, so appropriate treatment and supportive therapy should be provided based on symptoms.
