This medication is used to temporarily relieve symptoms of pain, itching, swelling, and bleeding caused by anal fissures and hemorrhoids.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

When applying: apply directly to the affected area up to 3 times a day. When administering: 2g once, administered rectally up to 3 times a day.

Children's dosage

For children and adolescents aged 7 to under 15 years: 1g once, administered rectally up to 3 times a day. For children under 7 years: do not use.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on areas of wounds that are infected. It is important not to take or use this medication with certain other medications. For example, suppositories or ointments containing dl-methyl ephedrine hydrochloride, scopolamine, or glycyrrhizic acid should not be used together. Additionally, it is advisable not to take blood pressure lowering medications or antidepressants simultaneously. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and patients currently under medical treatment should consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before using this medication. If skin redness, swelling, irritation, or signs of infection occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If allergic symptoms such as rash, redness, or itching occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. If symptoms do not improve after more than 7 days of use, it is necessary to seek professional care. If there is bleeding or symptoms of blurred vision, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed methods and dosages, and supervision by a guardian is required when used by children. It should only be used in the anal area and must not be applied to the eyes. Since it contains corticosteroid components, there may be vision issues. If blurred vision or visual disturbances occur, consult an ophthalmologist. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. To maintain the quality of the medication, do not transfer it to other containers.
