Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults (15 years and older) should take 1 to 2 tablets once a day at bedtime (on an empty stomach). The initial dose should be the minimum amount, gradually increasing or decreasing based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals suffering from serious gastrointestinal diseases such as acute abdominal conditions, intestinal bleeding, or ulcerative colitis. Additionally, patients with intestinal obstruction should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used by individuals with genetically determined lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. It is recommended not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour of taking this medication.
