Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For individuals 16 years and older, 1 tablet (75mg) can be taken at a time, up to a total of 2 tablets (150mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have experienced an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients. If you have difficulty swallowing food, experience pain while swallowing, or have symptoms such as vomiting blood or bloody stools, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn persists for more than 3 months, or if dizziness, cold sweat, or lightheadedness occurs along with heartburn, consultation with a professional is necessary. Caution is also advised if chest or shoulder pain occurs along with shortness of breath, frequent chest pain, unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain. Patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or those with a history of drug hypersensitivity, kidney or liver function issues, elderly individuals, or patients with a history of acute porphyria should consult a professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should consult a doctor before use, as this drug may cross the placenta or be passed through breast milk. This medication may interact with other drugs, so it is important to consult a professional if you are currently taking medications. If symptoms worsen or persist during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and do not continue use for more than 14 days continuously. Serious allergic reactions or various side effects such as blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, heart problems, digestive symptoms, neurological symptoms, skin rashes may occur, and if any of these symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a professional consulted. This medication may mask symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should only be used temporarily for symptom relief, and dosing intervals should be maintained if taken with other specific drugs as it may affect absorption.
