This medication is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), and periarthritis of the scapula-humeral joint. It is also effective in alleviating pain due to dental pain, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. Overall, it helps treat pain and inflammation caused by various joint and musculoskeletal disorders.
Take 100 mg of aceclofenac orally twice a day at 12-hour intervals. In patients with liver impairment, the initial dose is 100 mg once daily. This medication should be taken whole, without chewing or breaking it. Adjust the dosage as appropriate for symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse effects, administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in those who regularly consume more than 3 glasses of alcohol per day; consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease or cerebrovascular disease; those with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking should take it with caution. Use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible and regularly check the treatment effect and symptom improvement. This medication may cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so those who are elderly or have a history of gastrointestinal diseases need to exercise particular caution. Pregnant women in the third trimester or nursing mothers should not take this medication. Women in the early or middle stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor before taking it. This medication may cause central nervous system side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and visual disturbances, so avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. If taking other medications, especially anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, or antidiabetics, consult with healthcare personnel as there may be interactions.
