Precautions

This medication should not be used by women or children under 18 years of age. It should also not be used by individuals with allergies to this medicine or those with heart disease or blood pressure issues. Patients without genetic factors for hair loss or those with inflammation or wounds on the scalp should also avoid using this drug. If using other scalp medications or if the scalp is shaved, this drug should be avoided. When using this medication, it should not be used in conjunction with other topical medications such as topical corticosteroids, retinoids, or Vaseline. Furthermore, patients taking vasodilators should exercise caution as this medication may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure. Individuals aged 55 and older or those with edema or thyroid issues should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. It should also be used cautiously if allergic to any of its components. If symptoms like itching, rash, redness, or worsening of hair loss occur during use, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. Additionally, if symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, chest pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath develop, seek medical attention quickly. This medication may affect the heart, so it should not be overused, and health status should be checked before use. If a dose is missed, the next dose may be taken as usual, but it should not exceed the recommended dosage. This drug is not effective for hair loss or skin diseases of specific causes, and if the scalp is severely damaged while using, absorption may increase leading to a heightened risk of side effects. Overuse may cause side effects such as low blood pressure, edema, and heart rhythm disturbances, requiring prompt consultation with medical professionals, who may treat it with diuretics or heart medications. This drug should only be applied to the scalp and should not come into contact with the eyes or open wounds. After use, wash hands thoroughly, and hair styling products should only be used after the medication has completely dried. It is best to avoid using a hairdryer to allow the scalp to dry thoroughly. Additionally, this medication is flammable, so it should not be used or stored near flames, and it should be kept out of reach of children.
