Adult dose

As Octylonium Bromide, take 40 mg orally 2-3 times daily. Adjust as appropriate depending on age and symptoms.

This medication contains lactose, therefore it should not be used by patients with galactose intolerance or Lapp lactase deficiency, and patients who have problems absorbing glucose and galactose. Additionally, caution is needed for patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication. Patients with glaucoma should be especially careful when using this medication. This medication contains the dye Tartrazine (Yellow No. 5), so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this dye should also use it cautiously.
