View approved original text

When symptoms related to chronic arterial occlusion, such as ulcers, pain, and cold sensitivity are not sufficiently improved with cilostazol monotherapy, the combination of cilostazol and ginkgo biloba extract can more effectively improve ischemic symptoms. Additionally, this combination therapy aids in preventing recurrence after cerebral infarction (excluding cardioembolic stroke). This alternative therapy can contribute to alleviating symptoms and preventing recurrence for patients.

Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding must be discontinued if this medication is used. Children and the elderly may require dosage adjustments as the safety of this medication has not been fully established or due to diminished physical function.
