How to take

Adult dose

Treatment must be initiated by a physician experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's dementia, and only if a caregiver can periodically monitor the patient's adherence to the medication. This drug can be taken regardless of food intake. Dosage escalation: The maximum dosage per day is 20 mg, and to minimize the risk of adverse reactions, the dose should be increased by 5 mg weekly over the first 3 weeks until reaching the maintenance dose.

Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients or have severe liver or kidney impairment. Patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures, as well as those taking certain other medications, may experience exacerbated side effects and should exercise caution. Patients with changes in urine acidity or heart disease should also be cautious when using this drug.
