Precautions

This medication can cause severe poisoning and death if taken in large amounts accidentally by children, so it should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children. Persons allergic to this medication or with certain diseases, especially infants under 12 months of age, patients with iron metabolism issues, patients with non-iron deficiency anemia, and patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be combined with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics such as tetracycline, and antacids. Additionally, it is advisable to avoid drinking teas containing tannins such as green tea or black tea, as well as milk and dairy products before and after taking this medication.
