Treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and brain function disorders (tinnitus, dizziness)
This medicine is used for the treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders, especially intermittent claudication. It also helps alleviate dizziness, vascular and degenerative tinnitus. Additionally, it is effective in treating organic brain function disorders accompanied by dementia-like symptoms, including tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration issues, depressive moods, and dizziness. It contributes to improving blood circulation and supporting brain function, alleviating overall symptoms. Therefore, this medicine is used to treat various neurological and vascular-related symptoms.
1) Peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: 40 mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract 3 times a day or 80 mg twice a day orally. 2) Organic brain function disorders: 40-80 mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract 3 times a day or 120 mg twice a day orally. Adjust the dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medicine should not be taken by individuals with certain allergic reactions. It is also safer for children under 12 years of age to avoid using this medicine due to insufficient experience. Pregnant women should carefully consider taking this medicine, as there is not enough experience regarding its use. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals who lack the ability to break down lactose or have certain genetic issues should not take it. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Moreover, breastfeeding women should consult with a healthcare professional because it is unclear if this medicine is transmitted through breast milk. Individuals scheduled for surgery should immediately stop taking this medicine and consult healthcare providers. If symptoms do not improve after 3 months or worsen, treatment should be discontinued, and a doctor should be consulted. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occasionally occur, so if these symptoms arise, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching have also been reported, so caution is advised, and immediate medical attention should be sought if severe allergic reactions are suspected. This medicine is not a treatment for hypertension; therefore, hypertensive patients should not take this medicine unless specific treatment is necessary.
