This medication helps improve symptoms associated with gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching due to excessive stomach acid. It is used to neutralize stomach acid through its antacid effect and alleviate discomfort, thereby protecting gastrointestinal health.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 g of Almagate orally three times a day, 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose can be taken at bedtime if necessary.

Child dose

For children over 12 years of age, take 1 g of Almagate orally three times a day, 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose can be taken at bedtime if necessary.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, those with hemorrhoids, patients with fluid retention and swelling, patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension, those experiencing diarrhea, and individuals suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding should not use this medication. During the use of this medication, it is advisable not to take it with tetracycline antibiotics as this can interfere with the absorption of the antibiotics.
