This medication is used to supplement vitamins and minerals in various situations such as physical fatigue, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, decreased physical strength due to illness or recovery, growth periods, and old age. Vitamin A helps relieve dry eyes and prevent night blindness. Vitamin D improves bone and teeth development deficiencies and is effective in preventing rickets. Additionally, iron is used to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia, and zinc contributes to the body's supply. This helps strengthen body functions and maintain health.
How to take
Adult dose
For individuals aged 8 years and older and adults: take 1 tablet once a day.
Precautions
This medication should not be administered to women within the first three months of pregnancy or to women who may become pregnant if the dose of Vitamin A exceeds 5,000 IU, as this may pose a risk of congenital malformations. Children, especially those under the age of 6, may suffer fatal poisoning if they accidentally overdose on this medication, so it must be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Patients with certain conditions such as hypercalcemia, renal diseases, or sarcoidosis should not take this medication. Additionally, individuals with known allergies to this drug or its ingredients should avoid using it. Infants under 12 months of age, patients with hyperkalemia, those with iron metabolism disorders, and those with severe renal failure should also refrain from using this medicine. Since it contains lactose, patients with genetic conditions such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. During the course of treatment, this medication should not be taken concurrently with phosphate, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa. Particularly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with renal impairments, liver diseases, and cardiovascular diseases must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, joint pain, gastrointestinal disturbances, or allergic reactions occur during use, the medication should be immediately discontinued, and consultation with a specialist is advised. This medication must strictly adhere to prescribed dosages and administration; supervision by a guardian is necessary when administering it to children. Since Vitamin A can also be sufficiently obtained from meals, overdose should be avoided during supplemental therapy. It is advisable to avoid drinking tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea during use, as it may affect blood glucose tests or other clinical assessments. During storage, keep the medication tightly closed to avoid air exposure and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and do not transfer to another container.
