This medication is used for chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and periartritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also effective for relief of pain caused by inflammation, toothaches, back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. It helps improve the quality of life for patients by alleviating these symptoms. Therefore, it is used for various joint and muscle pains.
As Aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day every 12 hours. Do not chew or crush; take it as is. Adjust doses appropriately according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks daily, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may significantly increase the risk of serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, so it should be used with caution in individuals with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking history. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations; therefore, special caution is needed for the elderly or individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disorders. Individuals with active peptic ulcers, drug hypersensitivity, history of asthma, severe heart failure, or significant kidney or liver impairment, as well as pregnant women in late pregnancy and breastfeeding mothers, should not take this medication. Individuals with a history of renal impairment, heart failure, hypertension, or bronchial asthma should use this medication cautiously and may require regular examinations as per the doctor's instructions while taking it. This medication may cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions, dizziness, liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, etc., so if symptoms occur, medical personnel should be notified immediately. This medication should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and long-term use may require regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if taking anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, or antidiabetic medications, it is essential to consult with a physician. It is advisable not to take this medication during and especially at the end of pregnancy, and women planning to become pregnant should consult medical personnel before use. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. The safety of this medication has not been established in children and adolescents, so it is preferable not to use it. Elderly individuals should be especially cautious as they are at higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation. In case of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, convulsions may appear; immediate medical assistance should be sought for appropriate management. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container.
