This medication is used for epithelial damage in the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases, such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous conditions resulting from surgery, medication use, trauma, or contact lens wear.
Instill 1 drop per administration, 5-6 times a day. Adjust dosage appropriately according to symptoms.
This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate as the active ingredient, used to alleviate dryness or irritation in the eyes. Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients or protein-based drugs should not use this medication. While using this medication, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal disturbances, foreign body sensation, or rarely, eye discharge and pain may occur. If any of these symptoms appear, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so usage should be stopped if these symptoms appear. Care should be taken when using this medication in conjunction with other eye drops, such as steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract treatments, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers, as adverse reactions may be more frequent. Do not use with other eye drops at the same time; if they must be used together, administer the other eye drops first, then wait about 30 minutes before using this medication. This medication should only be used for eye drops, and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelids or eyelashes, as contamination may occur. The preservative benzalkonium chloride included can adsorb onto soft lenses, so do not use while wearing lenses and wait at least 15 minutes after administering the medication before putting in lenses. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops and do not use them in the eyes; after opening, use only once and discard any remaining medication. Avoid sharing this medication to reduce the risk of infection. Keep this medication out of reach of children, store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
