This medication is used for patients requiring simultaneous administration of amlodipine (esamlodipine) and atorvastatin for the treatment of hypertension or coronary artery disease. Amlodipine alleviates myocardial ischemia caused by cardiovascular issues such as hypertension and stable or variant angina, reducing the risk associated with angina and coronary artery revascularization in patients without heart failure or with low cardiac output. Atorvastatin lowers the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, and angina, and aids in the control of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. It is particularly effective in preventing cardiovascular complications in patients with diabetes or risk factors for coronary artery disease. Therefore, this medication is used to manage both hypertension and dyslipidemia while reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Rarely, liver function abnormalities, myalgia, allergic reactions, and skin rashes may occur, and if any abnormal symptoms arise, the doctor should be consulted immediately. Regular liver function tests are required during the use of this medication, and if symptoms such as hepatitis, myalgia, muscle weakness, or dizziness occur, medical personnel should be informed immediately.
