Precautions

This medication contains R-Tiocloctate Tromenamine Salt, and should not be used by patients who have had allergic reactions to this ingredient, thiocloctate, or any other excipients. During treatment with this medication, side effects such as sensory abnormalities, pain, headache, constipation, abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, cough, cystitis, diarrhea, and burning sensation may occur, most of which are mild to moderate in severity. Rarely, serious side effects such as kidney stones or facial swelling may occur, so if any abnormal symptoms worsen, consultation with a healthcare professional should be sought immediately. This medication is used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, and alcohol consumption may worsen neurological symptoms and reduce treatment effectiveness, so it is important to avoid alcohol during treatment and throughout any period of discontinuation. Additionally, this medication may form substances that interfere with drug absorption when taken with iron, magnesium preparations, milk, etc., so timing of meals and medication should be adjusted accordingly. When used with blood sugar-lowering agents, there is an increased risk of hypoglycemia, so blood sugar levels should be frequently monitored, and if necessary, the dosage of blood sugar-lowering agents should be adjusted. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using this medication to carefully evaluate the benefits and risks of the drug. For children under 18 years of age, use is not recommended as safety and efficacy have not been established. In cases of overdose, serious toxicity symptoms may occur, and if suspected, immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to protect it from air and light, and it is safest to store it at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. This storage method ensures that the components of the medication do not change and that efficacy is maintained for a longer period.
