Prevention and treatment effects for vitamin B1 deficiency and neuralgia
This injection is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency. It is effective when intake of vitamin B1 is insufficient, such as in cases of wasting diseases, hyperthyroidism, pregnancy and lactation, and intense physical labor. It is particularly used in the treatment of severe conditions such as Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. It also helps in cases suspected of vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorders, including neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, peripheral neuritis, myocardial metabolic disturbances, constipation, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and postoperative ileus. However, it is not recommended for use without purpose for more than one month. This injection effectively improves various symptoms related to vitamin B1 deficiency.
Thiamine, usually 5-100 mg per day is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously for adults. It should be adjusted according to symptoms.
