Adult dosage

In severe cases, 600-1200 mg is administered via intramuscular injection or intravenous drip daily. For treatment over several days or in mild cases, 300-600 mg is administered via intramuscular injection or intravenous drip daily.

This medication may rarely cause serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, so patient status must be carefully monitored during use. If the face becomes pale, blood pressure drops, or there are irregularities in pulse, administration should be stopped immediately. Additionally, rare hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes may occur, so use should be discontinued if such symptoms appear. Gastrointestinal side effects may include decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, so inform your healthcare provider if any of these symptoms occur. This medication is provided in vial form and should be used immediately after reconstitution. When administering via intramuscular injection, care should be taken to avoid nerves or blood vessels, and when administering repeatedly, care should be taken to change injection sites to avoid injecting in the same location. Particular caution should be exercised when administering to children or minors. When storing, keep in a safe place out of reach of children, and do not transfer the medication to another container from the original, as this may lead to misuse or deteriorate the quality of the medication; always keep it in the original container with the lid tightly closed.
