Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in individuals who regularly consume three or more alcoholic beverages daily, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding; consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is mandatory. Those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to this drug or other salicylates, patients with peptic ulcers, individuals with a history of aspirin-induced asthma, hemophiliacs, those with severe liver or kidney impairment, severe heart failure patients, individuals with bleeding tendencies, those taking high-dose methotrexate, and pregnant women in the third trimester should not use this medication. Patients with renal impairment, cardiovascular circulation abnormalities, liver disorders, blood disorders, bronchial asthma, pre-surgery patients, children under three years of age, those with drug hypersensitivity and allergy histories, elderly patients, individuals on anticoagulants, and patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency should use this drug cautiously. This drug may cause serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis; immediate cessation and notification of medical personnel should occur if symptoms like respiratory difficulties, generalized flushing, or urticaria appear. Severe skin reactions such as dermatitis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome may rarely occur, so skin conditions should be monitored closely. Blood-related issues such as anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia may arise, necessitating immediate cessation and consultation with medical personnel if any abnormal signs appear. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting may occur; prolonged use may lead to gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, requiring caution. If neurological symptoms such as dizziness, headache, or tinnitus occur, the dosage should be reduced or the medication discontinued. Liver or kidney functions may be affected, so individuals with liver or kidney disorders should consult medical personnel before use. Due to its antiplatelet activity, this medication may increase bleeding risk; caution is particularly required before and after surgery. In pediatric patients under 14 years of age with chickenpox or influenza, there is a risk for Reye's syndrome, so this medication should only be administered cautiously when necessary. Because of the potential for numerous drug interactions, consultation with medical personnel is essential if taken with anticoagulants, antidiabetics, methotrexate, lithium, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, among others. During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, it may pose risks to the fetus and mother, so avoidance is recommended; during breastfeeding, it is also advisable not to take this medication. Elderly patients may have a higher risk of adverse reactions, so starting with small doses while monitoring their condition is advisable. Care should be taken not to damage the enteric coating, and it is advisable not to take with alkalizing agents. Keep out of the reach of children, and store in its original container to prevent misuse or deterioration of quality.
