Injections are primarily safe when administered intravenously, and in cases of intramuscular or subcutaneous injections, care should be taken in selecting the injection site to avoid nerve or tissue damage. If pain is severe during injection or there is blood reflux, the injection should be immediately stopped and should be tried at another site. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, ideally in a light-blocking container at room temperature.
