Precautions

This medication can cause gastrointestinal bleeding in regular drinkers of more than three glasses of alcohol per day; therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, it may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, so patients with heart diseases or hypertension should use it with caution. It can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations; therefore, patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders should take it particularly carefully. Patients with peptic ulcers, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe heart failure, hypertension, or allergies to any components of this medication should not use it. Patients who have previously had allergic reactions to asthma or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin should also avoid taking this medication. Those with blood disorders, liver function impairment, kidney function decline, cardiovascular diseases, and elderly individuals require extra caution while using this medication and should consult medical personnel immediately if symptoms occur. Taking this medication with aspirin can reduce aspirin's heart-protective effects and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding; thus, concomitant use is not recommended. Serious allergic reactions such as skin rashes, difficulty breathing, and hypotension may occur while taking this medication; if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Especially in late pregnancy, it can harm the fetus, so it is safer for pregnant women not to use this medication. Nursing women should also avoid taking this medication, as it can be transmitted through breast milk and may cause adverse reactions in infants. Children and elderly patients are more sensitive to adverse effects; therefore, they should use the minimum dose cautiously and should be regularly monitored by a physician during treatment. This medication may interact with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antihypertensive drugs, anticoagulants, etc., so it is vital to inform your doctor of any medications you are currently taking. In case of overdose, immediate emergency treatment such as gastric lavage or inducing vomiting should be sought, and it should be stored safely out of reach of children.
