Adult dosage

One capsule (Aspirin/Clopidogrel 75/75 mg) once daily.

This medication prevents blood from coagulating and helps prevent the formation of blood clots. However, taking this medication may prolong the time it takes for bleeding to stop; therefore, if bleeding does not stop or if there are any unusual symptoms at the bleeding site, you should immediately inform your doctor. Before undergoing surgery or dental treatment, you must inform the medical staff that you are taking this medication. Individuals with a genetic deficiency of a specific enzyme (CYP2C19) may have reduced effectiveness of this medication, which could increase the risk of recurrence of cardiovascular diseases. It is also not recommended to take with other medications that alter the function of this enzyme. People who consume alcohol heavily on a daily basis may have a higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication should not be used in individuals with certain conditions. For example, those with severe bleeding disorders or hemophilia, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, pregnant women—especially during the third trimester—and nursing mothers may be at risk when taking this medication. Furthermore, individuals with certain inherited conditions such as lactose intolerance should also avoid taking this medication. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or those prone to bleeding should be cautious as the risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication. In particular, this medication may need to be discontinued prior to surgery. Acute stroke patients or patients with acquired hemophilia, and those with a history of asthma or allergies should use this medication carefully. Due to the risk of bleeding, extra caution is needed when taking this medication in combination with other drugs that affect blood coagulation. While taking this medication, attention should be paid to gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, indigestion, bleeding, etc.), and if any abnormal symptoms arise, you should consult with the healthcare team immediately. This medication can cause allergic reactions such as skin rashes and itching, or rarely, severe skin conditions, so it should be discontinued and a doctor notified if unusual symptoms occur. In case of overdose, the risk of bleeding may significantly increase, so the prescribed dosage must be adhered to, and if in doubt, contact a medical institution immediately. Taking this medication during pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, may pose a risk to the fetus; therefore, you should consult a doctor if you are planning to become pregnant or if you are pregnant.
