Improvement of menopausal disorder symptoms
This medication helps alleviate various symptoms caused by menopausal disorders. Additionally, it aids in enhancing overall quality of life, allowing for a more comfortable daily life. Therefore, it is beneficial for maintaining health in menopausal women.
As placenta extract, administer 2 mL subcutaneously once, three times a week for two weeks (total of 6 times).
This medication is an ampule injection; therefore, there is a risk of foreign body effects when the glass container shatters. Extra caution should be taken when opening the container, especially for children and the elderly, to avoid glass fragments mixing. This medication contains ingredients extracted from human placentas. Even though tests are conducted to check for infections during collection, and processes reduce the risk of infection during manufacturing, it is not possible to eliminate the infection risk completely. Thus, this medication should only be used in required cases at minimal dosages. Additionally, this product contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause serious respiratory problems in premature or low-birth-weight infants, requiring vigilance. This medication should not be used in the following cases: if there is an allergy to the drug, if severe illnesses affecting the heart, liver, or kidneys are present, or in neonates and premature infants. Patients with an allergic constitution should use this medication with extreme caution. Shock symptoms may occur while using this medication; if any symptoms present, usage should be immediately discontinued, and appropriate medical attention sought. Discontinuation of administration is also required if hypersensitivity reactions such as chills, nausea, fever, redness, or rash occur. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely, breast pain or gynecomastia may appear, necessitating discontinuation if such symptoms arise. It is crucial to adequately explain and obtain understanding from the patient about the infection risks when using this medication. When administering subcutaneously, it is important to avoid areas with nerve paths and to alternate injection sites, rather than injecting repeatedly in the same area. If severe pain or blood reflux occurs during injection, the needle should be immediately removed, and another area should be injected. This medication must only be administered by subcutaneous injection, and other methods of administration should be avoided.
