Adult dosage

For severe cases, 600-1200 mg is injected intramuscularly or administered through intravenous drip daily. In cases of treatment over several days or for mild conditions, 300-600 mg is injected intramuscularly or administered through intravenous drip daily.

This medication may rarely cause anaphylaxis, a serious allergic reaction, so patient status should be closely monitored during administration. If pallor, low blood pressure, or unusual pulse occurs, the drug administration should be stopped immediately. Additionally, hypersensitivity symptoms such as skin rashes may rarely appear; if such symptoms occur, the use of the drug should be discontinued. It may affect the gastrointestinal tract, causing decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, so caution is advised. When preparing the drug, it should be used immediately after dissolving the vial preparation, as its effectiveness may decrease over time. When intramuscularly injecting, care should be taken to avoid nerves or blood vessels and the injection site should be changed if repeated injections are necessary. Extra caution is required when injecting children or infants. This medication should be stored securely out of reach of children, and transferring it from its original container to another may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, which should be avoided. The medicine should always be kept in its original container and tightly closed.
