Manekain Cream 9.6% (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 milligrams of lidocaine) of this medication 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time may vary for individuals, and the minimum effective dose should be used. Do not exceed a maximum of 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

It is very important not to use this medication in certain patients. For example, individuals who are allergic to this drug or similar types of local anesthetics should not use it. Additionally, this medication should not be applied to areas of the skin with wounds or inflammation. Pregnant women are also advised against using this medication. Patients with liver or kidney problems should be extra cautious when using this medication. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so individuals who have known allergies to this ingredient or have had adverse reactions should use it with caution. If a rash or irritation occurs on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately, and if symptoms persist, consult a physician. Furthermore, prolonged use for more than 3 months without a physician's direction should be avoided. This medication is a topical preparation meant for application to the skin, so care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes or nose. Repeated application to the same area is not advisable. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and it should be kept away from very hot or very cold places and direct sunlight. After use, do not burn the medication; instead, dispose of it properly.
